Functional Auditor - Stock Audit



Location:

QATAR

Experience:

Min 2 yrs

Male candidates preferred



Job Purpose



To conduct

functional and stock audits

across stores and warehouses, ensuring

inventory accuracy, process compliance, loss prevention, and control effectiveness

.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct

stock audits

at stores and warehouses (cycle count, physical verification, surprise audits). Reconcile

physical stock vs system stock

(ERP/POS). Identify

shrinkage, pilferage, damages, expiry, slow-moving & dead stock

. Review

GRN, GDN, inter-store transfers, purchase returns, and stock adjustments

. Audit

store operations

including billing, pricing, discounts, and inventory controls. Verify

FIFO, batch control, expiry management

, and stock storage practices. Check compliance with

SOPs, internal controls, and loss prevention policies

. Prepare

audit reports

highlighting variances, root causes, and corrective actions. Follow up on

closure of audit observations

with store and department teams.

Key Skills & Competencies



Strong knowledge of

inventory management & stock audit procedures

Experience with

retail ERP / POS systems

Analytical skills with attention to detail Working knowledge of

MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

Ability to conduct

field/store audits


Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in

Commerce / Accounting / Finance
