We're looking for an Inventory Associate to oversee the management of holiday packages, tours, and travel-related inventory. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels, negotiate supplier contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Key responsibilities
Manage holiday package inventory (flights, hotels, tours, etc.).
Analyze demand forecasts and adjust inventory accordingly.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators).
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor inventory costs and optimize pricing strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with sales teams to promote holiday packages.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in inventory management, travel, or hospitality.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with inventory management software.
Desirable Skills
Experience with travel industry software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
Knowledge of GDS systems.
Certification in inventory management or supply chain management.
