Inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting the management of stock and supplies within a company, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting in stock audits. Maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs, focusing on tasks like data entry, basic stock management, and collaborating with other teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accurately log inventory transactions, including incoming and outgoing merchandise, and maintain records in inventory management software.
Inventory Checks: Performing regular inventory checks and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
Warehouse Management: Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Assist in tracking inventory levels and locations, conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies, and identify issues.
Maintain stored products in an organized manner, ensuring efficient space utilization and proper storage locations.
Collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and accurate inventory levels.
Receive, check, and record accuracy of inbound supplies and materials, placing them in the correct locations.
Provide timely inventory updates to support procurement decisions.
