Store Keeper / Inventory Assistant

to manage our restaurant inventory and ensure efficient stock control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and materials, while maintaining accurate inventory records. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our restaurants and helps support our commitment to high-quality food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders or invoices. Ensure proper storage of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Issue items to kitchen and service staff as per requisition orders. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or inventory management software. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies. Monitor stock levels and alert the purchasing team when reordering is necessary. Ensure cleanliness, organization, and security of the store/inventory area. Assist with unloading and organizing incoming deliveries. Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method for inventory control. Support kitchen and operations teams with timely inventory reports and documentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a store keeper, inventory assistant, or similar role, preferably in the hospitality or food service industry. Knowledge of inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Strong organizational and time management skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights. High school diploma or equivalent; further training in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management is a plus.

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
