Position Title: Stock Manager/ Head Department: Inventory / Stock Location: Jaipur Experience Required: 8-10 Years (Jewellery industry preferred) Role Summary The Stock Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of store inventory, ERP stock accuracy, security protocols, and daily stockroom functioning. This role requires strong experience in jewellery stock handling, high attention to detail, team supervision, and strict compliance with audit standards. The Stock Manager ensures that physical stock matches ERP data at all times and that vault operations are managed with maximum security and discipline. Key Responsibilities 1. Inventory & ERP Management

Oversee ERP-to-physical stock reconciliation and ensure 100% accuracy.

Ensure timely updating of all stock transactions: o Inwards o Transfer-outs o Returns o GRNs o Manual bills o Sales returns

Ensure all manual bills are updated in ERP on the same day.

Review and validate bill book entries daily.

Ensure sales returns are updated in ERP and informed to the concerned authority. 2. Vault & Security Operations (High Priority)

Ensure vault audits are conducted every 2 hours and properly recorded.

Ensure the stock department opens and closes on time.

Verify that locker closing times match the previous day's closing.

Ensure minimum 2 staff members are present during locker opening.

Conduct final security checks to ensure no jewellery is left outside lockers.

Confirm that all lockers and entrance/exit doors are securely locked at closing. 3. Stockroom Organization & Discipline

Maintain a systematic, clean, and sequenced stockroom.

Ensure jewellery is stacked neatly and stored safely.

Maintain visibility and accessibility of all stock items.

Monitor proper storage of trays, boxes, and spare materials.

Ensure customer hold material is not older than 7 days. 4. Audits & Daily Controls

Conduct daily stock tally and internal stock audits.

Execute periodic vault audits as per defined schedules.

Generate and review all Day-End Reports, ensuring full closure of daily stock activities.

Identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures immediately. 5. Team Supervision & Coordination

Lead and supervise the stock team to ensure smooth operations.

Ensure staff discipline during vault opening/closing and audit checks.

Train team members on: o ERP usage o Stock handling o Audit compliance o Security protocols

Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams for stock requirements. 6. Compliance & Process Adherence

Ensure strict compliance with company SOPs for stock, security, and vault operations.

Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails.

Report any stock discrepancy, process violation, or security breach immediately to management. Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of jewellery stock handling

Excellent understanding of ERP / stock management systems

Strong leadership and team management capability

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong sense of responsibility and integrity

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Good communication and coordination skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and stock reporting Qualifications

Graduate in Commerce / Business / Any discipline

8-10 years of experience in stock management, preferably in jewellery, luxury retail, or high-value inventory environments

Experience in vault operations and audit processes is mandatory
