We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern to support our design team in developing concepts, preparing drawings, selecting materials, and assisting with project coordination. This 3-month internship will provide hands-on exposure to residential, commercial, or hospitality interior projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in
concept development
, mood boards, and design presentations.
Prepare
2D plans, elevations, and working drawings
using AutoCAD or equivalent tools.
Support in creating
3D models & visualizations
(SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, etc., depending on the company).
Help in
material selection
, sourcing samples, and coordinating with vendors.
Conduct
site visits
to take measurements, supervise execution, and prepare progress reports.
Assist with
BOQ preparation
, quantity estimation, and cost checks.
Maintain project documentation, client presentation files, and design libraries.
Attend design meetings and coordinate with contractors, carpenters, and site teams.
Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or completed
Bachelor's in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil with interest in interiors
.
Basic proficiency in
AutoCAD
, SketchUp, Photoshop, or any relevant design software.
Understanding of interior materials, finishes, and detailing.
Strong sense of aesthetics, space planning, and creativity.
Good communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn, visit sites, and handle field tasks when required.
