Machine Learning Developer Intern - 6-Months (Hyderabad, Onsite)

Are you passionate about building intelligent systems that solve real-world challenges with measurable impact? As a Machine Learning Developer Intern at Finmee Technologies (NTWIST), you will work on cutting-edge ML projects that power data-driven decisions in continuous process industries. During this 6?month internship, you will contribute to live products, learn production best practices, and have the potential to convert into a full-time Machine Learning Engineer based on performance.

What you will work on

Support the design, development, and deployment of ML models for real client use cases, from proof-of-concept to production-ready code. Work with senior ML engineers and solution architects to validate ideas using sample data, build Python pipelines, and automate routine product maintenance tasks. Perform data ETL, preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis using tools like NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and visualization libraries. Assist in training, evaluating, and tuning ML models (parametric/non?parametric, clustering, optimization, hyperparameter tuning) with frameworks such as TensorFlow and OpenCV. Contribute to clean, well-documented codebases, follow agile practices, use Git for version control, and regularly update project management tools. Participate in deployment and support activities: help with CI/CD-driven releases, basic monitoring scripts, and documentation for internal teams and clients.
What we are looking for

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field. Hands-on experience through courses, projects, internships, Kaggle, or personal ML/AI projects. Strong Python skills and familiarity with key libraries: NumPy, Pandas, SciPy; exposure to TensorFlow and/or OpenCV is a plus. Understanding of core ML concepts: data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, basic statistics and probability. Comfort with Git and curiosity about working with databases (MongoDB or similar). Problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work from our Hyderabad office for the full duration of the internship.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
