The primary objective of this internship is to conduct on-ground market study and research to understand and expand the market presence and share of Swetha Teja Foods across Hyderabad and nearby regions. The role focuses on identifying potential retail outlets, analyzing market trends, and supporting business expansion through structured field insights and data collection.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Scouting:
Identify and map small retail outlets such as pan shops, convenience stores, snack points, and mini supermarkets within the assigned areas.
Create and maintain a structured database of potential outlets for product listing and sales outreach.
Product Showcasing:
Visit identified outlets and introduce the Swetha Teja Foods product range.
Highlight product unique selling propositions (USPs) and create initial awareness and interest among retailers.
Outlet Listing and Data Collection:
Act as a Sales Representative (SR) for new outlet listings in the assigned territory.
Collect detailed outlet-level data including location, contact information, current product mix, and estimated sales potential.
Market Research & Analysis:
Gather insights on competitor presence, pricing, promotions, and retail dynamics.
Identify gaps and opportunities for Teja Foods' product range in local retail markets.
Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team to share field findings and suggest actionable insights.
Educational Qualification:
BBA / MBA- Marketing/ Supply Chain
Students pursuing final-year graduation /post-graduation programs are eligible.
Required Skills & Attributes:
Strong interest in the FMCG / Food industry and market research
Good communication and presentation skills in Telugu and Hindi
Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-oriented
Ability to travel within assigned areas
Basic understanding of retail distribution and sales processes
