About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic Research & Innovation team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of cosmetic product development, with a specific focus on the stabilization of bioactive ingredients.



As an intern, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Raw Material Management: Actively participate in arranging and managing the required raw materials for various experiments, ensuring their availability for ongoing research projects. Experimental Design & Formulation: Design and conduct experiments focusing on the preparation of cosmetic formulas specifically aimed at the stabilization of bioactive ingredients. This includes hands-on formula development and experimental execution. Stability Studies & Analysis Coordination: Conduct accelerated thermal stability studies on developed formulations and effectively coordinate sample analysis with the analytical team to evaluate product integrity and performance.

This internship is designed to provide invaluable learning experiences and skill development, some of them as follows:

Project Management Fundamentals: Develop practical skills in managing scientific projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and data analysis. Deep Dive into Chemical Interactions: Gain an in-depth understanding of complex chemical interactions within cosmetic formulas, crucial for product stability and efficacy. Expertise in Active Ingredient Stability: Acquire specialized knowledge regarding the critical impact of various ingredients on the stability and performance of active compounds in cosmetic products, a vital skill in modern cosmetic science.

What We're Looking For (Desired Skills & Experience):

Foundational understanding of cosmetic formulation principles. Basic knowledge of the chemistry of cosmetic ingredients. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or a closely related scientific field. * Prior laboratory experience is beneficial, preferably in a setting relevant to chemistry or materials science.
