Kaufman Rossin is seeking a tax senior to join our dynamic Tax Advisory Services. As a Tax senior in the International Tax team, you will assist in providing tax consulting and compliance services for clients with cross-border operations. You will gain exposure to a variety of international tax issues, including tax planning, structuring, compliance, and regulatory matters. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in international tax.


How You'll Contribute:



1.

Tax Research & Analysis

:

Assist in conducting research on international tax issues, including, foreign tax credit and other cross-border tax matters. Analyze and summarize international tax laws, regulations, and treaties to help provide insights for client strategies. Support the team in staying up to date with international tax developments and potential impacts on clients.


2.

Compliance Assistance

:

Prepare and review international tax compliance filings (Form 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865and 3520), including foreign tax returns, disclosures, and informational forms. Prepare and review U.S. individual income tax returns (Form 1040) with international components, including foreign income, FTC, and reporting of foreign assets. Identify process improvements and contribute to automation and standardization of international tax processes. Analyze ownership structures, foreign entity classifications, and cross-border transactions to determine U.S. reporting requirements. Assist with calculations related to Subpart F income, GILTI, foreign tax credits, withholding taxes, and earnings & profits.


3.

US team Interaction

:

Support the Manager, Director and Partner's tax professionals in US team meetings and calls, taking notes and following up on action items. Assist in the preparation and review of client deliverables, including tax reports, presentations, and proposals. Assist in responding to client queries regarding international tax issues. Proactive mindset with attention to detail and quality.

4.

Documentation and Administrative Support

:

Organize and maintain files and documentation for tax projects. Exposure to Pillar Two, BEPS, or global minimum tax rules. Assist with other administrative tasks within the International Tax team as needed.

5.

Learning & Development

:

Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and industry events to deepen knowledge in international tax law. Collaborate with US team members to improve technical and professional skills.

Requirements



What Skills You'll Bring:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field (Master's in Taxation, EA or CPA preferred) Relevant coursework or training in International Tax, Corporate Tax, or similar areas is a plus. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of tax software or Microsoft Excel is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. More than 2 years of experience in international tax within public accounting, multinational corporation, or professional services firm.
