Profile- Sales Manager - International business

Location:- Bannarghatta, Bangalore

Working days- 5 days (9 am to 6 pm)(WFO)

for Associate Director/AGM - International business



Will be responsible for generating and managing business in ROW &; EU Markets. This will be a P & L responsibility. Achievement of budgeted numbers will be the key objective. The business will involve soliciting CDMO opportunities and partnering onOrbion/ Bionpharma & product range in different markets. For the CDMO business, the responsibility will be to generate business for OrBion to operate as a CDMO, involving development and manufacturing of products, either full development, executing EB, including filing, Site Transfer, and commercial manufacturing for Solids, Liquids & Sachet products. For the responsibility will be to solicit business for Stability and Release testing for products to enable cost savings for potential partners. The stability testing will include Stability for filings and annual stability across all geographies and different stability conditions. The responsibility for the CDMO business and Stability & Release business shall consist of soliciting business, acting and following up on leads that may come from different avenues, building a commercial proposal in discussion with Tech Services and MD, negotiating the proposal with the customer, and finalizing the agreements. Upon signing of the agreement, the person shall facilitate the kick-off call and then hand the project over to the Project management team. However, the person shall provide periodic updates on the project to the senior management. OrBion and Bionpharma's portfolio: (a) The person will be responsible for identifying the products for various ROW markets (MENA, SEA, EU) from OrBion and Bionpharma's portfolio that have potential in the ROW markets. (b) Identify all the regulatory requirements for filing and obtaining approvals for the products. (c) Identify partners in the markets for distributing the products, either in the customer's label/brand or OrBion's brand (Brand names if needed to be registered). The person must develop a 3-year plan for growing all three businesses, including a clear target for each year. Until the business reaches a critical mass, the person shall be operating alone and shall be supported by the project management, tech transfer, Commercial, and Regulatory teams. If other commercial/business opportunities arise for growing the business in the ROW/EU markets, the person shall be assigned that responsibility.

Profile:



Self-Motivated and willing to work alone with the cross-functional team to build
the business from the ground up.

Good understanding of the pharmaceutical business and regulatory framework
involved in different markets, and good exposure to handling and managing them

Good understanding of pharmaceutical products in general and the different
therapeutic areas.

Experience in building a business in different geographies to a critical mass- need
not be in all geographies.

Astute learner - should be able to learn every aspect of the CDMO/CRO business and international business in a short period. Experience in brand marketing and or CDMO business. The job will entail domestic and international travel.

Professional qualification and Experience:



Science or Pharmacy graduate Postgraduate degree in International Business or Management. 8-10 years of experience in building international business in regulated and semi- regulated markets with a good understanding of regulatory requirements. Currently working in an organization operating in international markets or a CDMO/CRO
