Job Summary
The International Sales Executive (Carrier Sales Manager) will be responsible for driving global carrier business by building, managing, and expanding relationships with international telecom operators, wholesale voice partners, and data carriers. The role focuses on revenue growth, traffic expansion, margin optimization, and strategic account management across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Sales
Identify and onboard new international carriers, wholesale voice partners, and global telecom operators.
Drive sales for international voice, A2P SMS, data/IP services, and other carrier-related products.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue, margin, and traffic targets.
Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, rate sheets, and negotiation strategies.
2. Account Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing global carrier partners to ensure consistent business growth.
Monitor traffic trends, generate forecasts, and ensure healthy routing and profitability.
Handle daily commercial communication, contract renewals, and pricing agreements.
Resolve partner-related issues by coordinating with NOC, finance, and routing teams.
3. Commercial Negotiations
Conduct interconnect and bilateral agreement negotiations with existing and new carriers.
Evaluate and negotiate buy/sell rates to achieve competitive and profitable routing options.
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and changing regulatory policies.
4. Operations Coordination
Work closely with the technical and NOC teams to ensure quality of service and quick resolution of route issues.
Coordinate with finance for credit limits, billing, settlements, and dispute resolutions.
Maintain updated documentation, agreements, and compliance certifications.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Analyze traffic patterns, revenue performance, and margin trends to guide business decisions.
Present performance updates and insights to management.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of
international carrier business
, A2P SMS, ILD, and wholesale telecom.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess profitable routing opportunities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecom Engineering, Marketing, or related fields.
1+ years of experience in
international carrier sales
, wholesale voice, A2P SMS, or global telecom partnerships.
Existing network of international carrier contacts is an added advantage.
