Job Summary:

The Manager, International Payroll is responsible for overseeing and/or completing the payroll process for India and International teams at .

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accuracy of the monthly payroll of approximately 200+ India and global employees
  • Work closely with global teams and 3rd party vendors to ensure all processes are completed on time
  • Reconciliation of the Payroll prior to payment of salaries every month
  • Ensure compliance in all areas of compensation payment, reporting and government guidelines
  • Ensure that the Payroll Control Framework and Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure all Payroll Audit requirements are followed
  • In collaboration with the finance team reconcile Payroll data prior to monthly financial close
  • Enhance current processes to develop monthly payroll controls and procedures
  • First point of escalation for any complex Payroll queries from management and employees
  • Carries out other Payroll tasks as required
  • Drive the process excellence mind-set within the organization
  • Assist in the constant review & streamlining of processes within HR, systems, and finance department
  • Involvement in wider organizational projects to achieve business goals (example: furlough, HRIS system, Payroll systems implementation)
  • Collaborate and engage with internal and external stakeholders
  • Keep Management informed of all current and potential problems and related risks to the company
  • Follow and apply new procedures implemented through Audit findings or other like matters
  • Comply with company policies and maintain strict confidentiality in all business matters
  • Ensure progress and constant care, be upright and humble in all matters within area of responsibility along with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance (B.Com), or equivalent experience
  • CPP certification / Master's in finance is a strong plus
  • 10+ years relevant work experience in payroll
  • Global payroll and multi-state US payroll with both exempt and nonexempt employees
  • Public company experience
  • HRIS, ADP, Workday payroll experiences
  • Deep understanding of applicable Federal, State, and local payroll and related tax laws, regulations
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, SOX documentation and control testing experience a plus
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and attention to detail
  • Strong desire to learn and grow
  • Self-motivated, flexible and deadline-oriented
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and unwavering integrity
  • Strong system and data flow knowledge. Ability to learn and adapt to new process flows and software technologies
  • Team-oriented approach - can participate as an effective team member as well as work cross-functionally with other organizations
