Role Purpose The International Human Resources Manager (below referred as the HR Manager) is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of all HR practices for our India locations, and also driving excellence across our Global HR Operational processes and practices.
This position is both tactical and strategic requiring an agile approach with the ability to handle both long term projects and immediate tasks.
The HR Manager delivers and supports Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and ongoing development of the workforce \xe2\x80\x93 resulting in high engagement levels and EXA being a Great Place to Work!
Provides comprehensive Human Resource support including but not limited to full end to end HR support, investigating, and resolving employee and labor relations issues, creating and maintaining local HR policies and processes, facilitating annual HR programs like performance management and compensation cycles, maintaining and ensuring compliance with relevant local labor regulation and driving engagement and volunteering programs. Consults with management on HR policy implementation and advises managers on disciplinary action and performance matters.
This role will be responsible for one employee, who is also based in India who supports the global team on HR Operations and Group Reward topics.
The HR Manager will be a key leader in our India office and work across our global teams to enable a high level of HR delivery.
Key responsibilities
  • Drives optimization of local and global HR policies and processes, and ensuring global data accuracy and monthly reporting is delivered on time.
  • Act as HR Partner to leaders and employees on general human resources topics, Responsible for day-to-day operational running and delivery of all HR services across their allocated countries
  • Partners with management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
  • Makes certain that the managers know how to successfully, ethically, honestly, and legally communicate with employees.
  • Employee Retention: monitor and report on staff turnover. Analyse, recommend and implement plans to rectify to get to reduce staff turnover at an agreed rate
  • Ensure pay and benefits are processed accurately and in timely manners via Group payroll.
  • Manages all local benefit providers from end to end
  • Reviews, guides, approves, and executes employment terminations.
  • HRIS: Ensure all information in the HR system is correct and up to date at all times.
  • Delivers local HR change management, communication plans and training initiatives
  • Performance Management: Support communication and completion of performance process. Ensure capability gaps identified and development plans actioned. Sustain a high-performance culture through coaching managers on performance management and employee relations issues.
  • Coaches and trains managers and teams at all levels in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction responsibilities with the employees who report to them.
  • Employee relations. Monitor employee relations activity (discipline, grievance, queries) and provide management support and take appropriate actions adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Drives local initiatives to support engagement including, but not limited to, volunteering in the community
  • Represents the company in Labour inspections, Audits and/or other similar checks that might arise and is responsible to ensure compliance with all requirements given during such checks.

Individual Profile
  • Demonstrable progression within your HR experience
  • Strong HR operations experience
  • Previous managerial experience
  • Proactive and solutions focused.
  • Structured and delivery oriented.
  • Able to work on own initiative and cope with ambiguity.
  • Approachable with excellent communication skills at all levels in English
  • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team-oriented environment.
  • May involve some infrequent travel.
