Job Description

The International Business Development Manager Maritime Sales will be responsible for expanding and managing marine export sales from India to Singapore-based maritime clients, including ship owners, ship managers, offshore contractors, and marine procurement agents. The role involves leading business development for ship chandling and vessel supply solutions, ensuring compliance with international maritime standards, and maintaining strong client relationships through regular travel to Singapore.
Role & responsibilities

  • Develop Singapore maritime market through lead generation, client acquisition, and industry events.
  • Promote and sell marine supplies (technical stores, bonded stores, safety gear, spares, consumables).
  • Handle RFQs, proposals, contract negotiations, and sales closure.
  • Manage key client accounts; act as single point of contact for order execution and after-sales.
  • Prepare proposals with Incoterms (FOB/CFR/DDP) and finalize pricing/contracts.
  • Coordinate with procurement, QC, and logistics teams in Mumbai for timely fulfillment.
  • Oversee export documentation (Invoices, Packing List, HS Codes, COO, MSDS, Certificates).
  • Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines for delivery and compliance.
  • Track vessel movements, competitor activity, and provide strategic market insights.
