As an International Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying and cultivating relationships with international clients--particularly from the education and research sectors. Your focus will be to drive business growth by promoting our publishing platform and conferences to institutions, researchers, and academic organizations around the world.
Key Responsibilities
:
Identify, engage, and convert international education clients and research institutions into long-term partners.
Promote GR Scholastic's publishing platform, academic services, and global conferences.
Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans tailored for global markets.
Plan and manage international academic events, webinars, and conferences.
Represent GR Scholastic in global education expos and industry events.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with client needs.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities in global education markets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
:
5+ years of experience
in international sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in the
education or academic publishing industry
.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong experience in managing or coordinating international business events or academic conferences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage a global audience.
Proficiency in CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and business communication tools.
Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
