We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Executive who will manage end-to-end billing activities related to Letter of Credit (LC), Import/Export transactions, documentation, foreign exchange processes, and Indian accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international trade procedures, banking documentation, and statutory compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesLetter of Credit (LC) Management
Prepare, review, and submit all LC documentation accurately (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Certificates, etc.).
Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement.
Ensure all LC terms and conditions are met to avoid discrepancies.
Import & Export Billing
Generate import and export invoices as per statutory and client requirements.
Verify shipping documents and ensure alignment with commercial invoices.
Handle export benefits documentation (e.g., LUT, ARE-1, duty drawback, etc.).
Maintain track of shipment-wise billing and ensure timely submission to clients or agencies.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain all import/export documents, contracts, and agreements.
Coordinate with CHA, logistics partners, and freight forwarders.
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, FEMA, DGFT guidelines, and GST requirements.
File and maintain statutory records and audit-related documentation.
Foreign Exchange & Banking
Track foreign remittances, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation with bank statements.
Work with banks for forex rate booking, TT settlements, and follow-up on inward/outward remittances.
Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and support the finance team in forecasting.
Indian Accounting
Record all billing entries in the accounting system (Tally/ERP).
Handle GST calculations on import/export transactions.
Reconcile accounts receivable and payable related to import/export activities.
Support monthly closing, ledger scrutiny, and audit requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field.
2-5 years of experience in LC handling, import/export billing, and accounting.
Strong knowledge of international trade documentation and compliance.
Hands-on experience with Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail with strong analytical ability.
