We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Trainer to manage training and development for our blue-collar workforce in the FMCG sector. The Trainer will be responsible for skill-building, process training, hygiene and safety awareness, sales behavior, and on-the-job coaching to ensure productivity, compliance, and quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct induction and onboarding sessions for new hires (production, sales promoters, delivery staff, kitchen helpers, etc.).
Train employees on
standard operating procedures (SOPs), hygiene, food safety, quality checks, and workplace discipline
.
Conduct regular training on
customer handling, product knowledge, and sales techniques
for promoters and field staff.
Deliver refresher trainings and skill-upgradation programs for existing employees.
Develop simple, easy-to-understand training material in local language(s).
Monitor performance post-training and provide feedback/coaching on the job.
Maintain records of training sessions, attendance, and outcomes.
Work closely with HR and Operations to identify skill gaps and design targeted training programs.
Ensure all employees understand and comply with
safety regulations, company policies, and FMCG industry standards
.
Encourage discipline, teamwork, and positive workplace behavior among staff.
Requirements & Skills:
Prior experience as a Trainer, Supervisor, or Team Leader in FMCG, Retail, QSR, or Manufacturing industries.
Strong communication skills in English and local languages (Hindi/regional).
Ability to engage and motivate a blue-collar workforce with simple, practical training methods.
Knowledge of
FMCG processes, hygiene practices, and sales basics
.
Patience, empathy, and ability to handle diverse backgrounds and education levels.
Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
Qualification:
Graduate / Diploma in HR, Training, or related field (not mandatory for experienced candidates).
Certification in training or safety & hygiene (preferred).
