To ensure effective financial control, audit compliance, accurate financial reporting, and cost optimization by reviewing transactions, evaluating internal controls, and providing management with reliable financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, validate, and approve purchase orders to ensure accuracy, compliance with company policies, and adherence to internal controls.
Scrutinize general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies, financial risks, and control gaps.
Conduct internal, operational, and financial audits in line with organizational policies and statutory requirements.
Monitor cost trends, analyze expenditure patterns, and recommend cost-control and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Evaluate financial systems, internal controls, and business processes to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Perform substantive and system-based audit testing to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data.
Maintain accounting records and prepare periodic accounts, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
Supervise, guide, and review the work of junior team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with accounting and audit standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop, analyze, and present financial management reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Provide advisory support on taxation, treasury operations, cash-flow management, and working capital optimization.
Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, special assignments, and process improvement initiatives as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
CA Inter.
4-8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, internal audit, or risk management.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and audit procedures.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel; experience with financial reporting tools preferred.
Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
