The Auditor will be responsible for conducting financial and operational audits, ensuring compliance with policies, identifying risks, and recommending improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments to strengthen financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Audits:
Verify cash balances, reconcile system records, and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Compliance Checks:
Ensure adherence to internal rules, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Risk Assessment:
Identify potential areas of financial or resource loss and recommend mitigation strategies.
Reporting:
Prepare clear, concise audit reports highlighting findings, issues, and recommendations for management.
Process Improvement:
Analyze existing workflows and suggest enhancements for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Data Analysis:
Use financial and operational data to detect anomalies, trends, or errors and investigate root causes.
Collaboration:
Work closely with departments including Public Health, hospitals, finance, and operations, to resolve audit findings.
Training & Mentoring:
Guide staff at Primary Eye Care Centres, sharing best practices and strengthening compliance culture.
Special Focus - Optical Industry
Inventory Management:
Audit inventory records and ensure compliance with procedures.
Cash Accounting:
Verify cash collections against system records and ensure timely bank deposits.
Sales & Revenue:
Confirm accuracy of sales data and revenue reporting.
Supply Chain:
Assess efficiency of order deliveries from Secondary Centres to Vision Centres (VCs).
IT Systems:
Review data protection measures and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
B.Com Graduate degree
.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in inventory and process auditing.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
Knowledge of compliance standards and auditing practices.
