Job Description

Conducts auditing of the patient's case sheets in the Hospital. Verify the case sheets, check the Consultant's entry and ensure the advice is followed by the nursing staff. All type of investigation and procedure verification w.r.t. requisitions of concerned department. Case sheet verification for authenticity of final patient Bill Check the stock received from the stores and ensure that is documented properly in the case sheet and in the system. Physical verification of the stock in wards also ensures that stock received is issued to the patients and any excess stock is returned to the stores. Responsible to make a report on Consumption analysis and verification. Coordinate with the Nursing Superintendant with regard to the stock misplaced. Check the expiry date of the injections and drugs and ensure that the same is returned to the suppliers. Checking the consumption of Lab kits, investigation wise. Verifying the kit consumption Prepare the statement of the opening and closing stock and compare the same with the number of investigations done. Verification of costly procedures Maintain privacy and confidentiality of information obtained in the course of work Maintain necessary registers. Conduct audit in other units as and when required.
