Job Title: Internal Audit Executive

Job Overview:

The Internal Audit Executive is responsible for evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of the organization's risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. This role ensures compliance with company policies, relevant laws, and regulatory standards, while helping to protect the company's assets and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits as outlined in the approved audit plan, ensuring timely execution and thoroughness. Evaluate internal controls, processes, and procedures across all departments, identifying areas for improvement. Identify risks and control weaknesses, providing actionable recommendations to address them. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Draft clear, detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and suggested corrective actions. Track the implementation of agreed corrective actions from audit findings, ensuring their completion. Perform audits across various areas including financial, operational, and process audits. Support fraud risk assessments and assist in investigations when required. Work closely with external auditors to assist with statutory and management audits. Maintain well-organized and accurate audit documentation and working papers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 1 year of experience in internal auditing, accounting, or a related area (flexibility based on experience). Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit methodologies, and risk management principles. Familiarity with IFRS and relevant legal/regulatory requirements is a plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and audit/accounting software. A high degree of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
