Key accountabilities (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)
Assist in conducting audits across various business functions such as underwriting, claims, and finance, etc.
Document audit findings and prepare detailed observations.
Support assessments of internal controls and recommend improvements.
Help ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, guidelines, circulars and policies approved by the Board.
Follow up on corrective actions from previous audit reports.
Analyze data to identify discrepancies.
Collaborate with the audit team and with other departments.
Participate in training sessions to understand audit processes and industry regulations.
Details of the Technical skill set required for the position
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and report writing skills.
Basic knowledge of auditing principles and financial concepts.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Eagerness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
Prior internship in audit or insurance is a plus (not mandatory).
