Role Overview
The Internal Audit Assistant Executive will support the Internal Auditor in conducting audits across operational, financial, and compliance functions of the organization. The role demands strong accounting and taxation fundamentals, excellent analytical abilities, and a hands-on approach during field audits across various business locations. The candidate must be capable of working independently and managing audits at factories, depots, warehouses, and branches.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct process audits, field audits, and inventory verifications across factories, depots, warehouses, and branches.
Perform compliance checks and reconciliations related to GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax.
Extract, analyze, and validate data from Tally Prime, Excel, and other systems.
Prepare audit working papers, MIS reports, and assist in drafting SOPs and process documentation.
Identify control gaps, deviations, and exceptions, and assist in preparing audit observations and reports.
Conduct on-site walkthroughs, surprise checks, and physical verifications.
Support digital audit initiatives including analytics, automation, and system-based audit techniques.
Coordinate with operations, accounts, factory teams, and management for data gathering and closure of audit points.
Required Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com with 1-3 years of experience in Accounts, Taxation, or Audit.
CA-Inter candidates preferred (either or both groups).
Strong fundamentals in accounting and taxation.
Mandatory Skills
Good working knowledge of:
GST (return basics, 2A/2B reconciliation, input/output concepts)
TDS (rates, applicability, and return process)
Basic Income Tax concepts
Tally Prime
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF functions, data cleaning, etc.)
Preferred Skills
Exposure to internal audits, stock audits, compliance reviews, or MIS.
Knowledge of Power BI or other data analytics tools (preferred but not mandatory).
Interest in digital audits, AI-based automation, and process improvement initiatives.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, especially during field visits.

Strong observational and analytical thinking.
Other Requirements
Willingness to travel across India to all business locations (factories, depots, warehouses, offices).
Comfortable performing fieldwork, physical verifications, and process-level assessments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
