Conduct internal audits of construction projects, procurement, contracts, and site operations.
Verify accuracy of project billing, subcontractor claims, vendor payments, and material consumption.
Review compliance with ISO standards, quality management systems, and statutory requirements.
Identify gaps in project execution related to cost, time, safety, and quality.
Assess risk management controls and suggest corrective/preventive measures.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
Follow up on implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement measures.
Ensure compliance with internal control policies, financial discipline, and ethical practices.
Support management in fraud detection, cost control, and process efficiency initiatives.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and site execution.
Understanding of IS codes, tendering, BOQ, contract management, and billing.
Analytical thinking with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good knowledge of financial controls, audit techniques, and risk management.
Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualification - Any Degree.
3-5 years of experience in internal audit, quality audit, or project audit within the construction/civil industry.
Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and audit tools will be an added advantage.
