Conduct research to evaluate supplier capabilities, reliability, and track record to ensure they meet our quality standards and delivery requirements. Purchase Order Management: Support the procurement team in processing purchase orders, tracking order status, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and components. Inventory Control: Work closely with the supply chain team to monitor inventory levels, reconcile discrepancies, and assist in optimizing stock levels to ensure efficient operations. Data Analysis: Help gather and analyze data related to procurement and supply chain activities. Utilize tools like Excel to generate reports and provide insights to improve decision-making processes. Vendor Communication: Collaborate with suppliers on a regular basis to communicate order updates, resolve issues, and maintain a positive supplier relationship. Logistics Coordination: Assist in coordinating the transportation and delivery of materials to various production sites, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment arrangements. Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements in procurement and supply chain activities to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Documentation and Compliance: Support in maintaining accurate records of procurement and supply chain activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and finance to facilitate seamless operations and address interdepartmental challenges. Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your understanding of procurement and supply chain functions. Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to work well in a team environment and independently. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Eagerness to learn and a positive attitude towards taking on new challenges.
