We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Student to develop R&D Medical Device experience by supporting new product development programs in Hospital Patient Monitors. In this role you will learn and execute research and development activities associated to product development life cycle. You are responsible for Assisting in research and development activities associated with new product development. Collaborating with cross-functional team members throughout product development phases to ensure program success Support data driven decisions making using appropriate analytical methodologies Support verification activities to ensure designs meet functional requirements through the performance of engineering analyses and testing. Support establishing test methods, acceptance criteria, and test equipment for all stages of product development. Writing test protocols, analyzing data, and documenting findings in test reports. Help creating and maintaining System Engineering artifacts. You are a part of As a part of Philips Monitoring Business Segment - Hospital Patient Monitoring Research & Development organization, you will help our business enable healthcare providers to decide, guide, treat, and confirm in one setting, thereby optimizing care, reducing costs and getting patients back to the lives they love. To succeed in this role, you\'ll need a customer-first attitude and the following Completed at least 75% of studies in Master\'s in Mechatronics / Mechanical engineering/Electronics engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. Strong engineering fundamentals and inclination towards product development. Knowledge of different sensors and actuators, electromechanical systems, basic programming, and software engineering. Desire to understand and communicate how product is used, designed and manufactured and establish test methods to evaluate design concepts. Detail oriented, highly organized and be able to communicate information effectively. Ability to multitask, take ownership, and collaborate cross functionally with others.
