About the Job

We are looking for:

A motivated student to join as an Investment Intern in Symbiotic's Gurgaon office. You will assist the investment analysts of the South Asia Region in the monitoring of financial and ESG performances for Institutions located in the region. The intern will have a unique opportunity to be introduced to the impact industry through working with one of the global leaders in sustainable private debt.



Our preference is for the intern to work with us full-time from August / September to November / December with three days a week in the Gurgaon office. ( 3 months Internship )





Market Research

Support the investment team in the production of market/industry research reports (accuracy, completeness, timeliness) for countries in portfolio.

Institution Due Diligence

Maintenance of all data required for the opening, clearing and updating of FI Account and KYC process for institutions in the region Inputting of audited financial statements and liability information report for investees in the region Opportunity to receive on the job training from experienced Investment Analysts

Institution Monitoring

Support Investment Analysts in the monitoring of investee risk through monthly reports (timely reception, initial review)

Your Qualification



Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic person who is organized and able to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment. More specifically, we have the following requirements:

Currently enrolled or recently graduated / post graduated from a tier 1 or tier 2 University in a finance related program Strong interest in impact investing Strong command of Microsoft Excel Excellent written and oral communication skills Fluent written and spoken English. Hindi and other regional languages is a plus
