Job Title:

Intern, Hair Color DA intern

:

As an Intern working with the Hair Color DA team, candidate will assist the team with the following responsibilities:



Batch Making and Formulation Support: Preparing Color/Care Batches: Follow detailed formulation steps and use appropriate lab equipment to create experimental batches for Hair Color and Hair Care products. Documentation: Record all batch details, including raw material lot numbers, weights, mixing parameters, and any observations made during the compounding process. This involves maintaining detailed lab notebooks or electronic records. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all lab equipment used for batch making is clean, calibrated, and properly maintained for accurate and consistent results. Stability Analysis and Testing Support: Sample Preparation: Prepare samples for various stability tests, ensuring proper labeling and storage. Stability Chamber Management: Place samples into specified stability chambers (e.g., those with different temperatures, humidity levels, or light exposure) and retrieve them at designated time points (e.g., 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months). Physical Property Evaluation: Conduct routine physical tests on stability samples to observe any changes over time. Reporting Observations: Systematically document all stability observations, noting any deviations or signs of instability. Sending Samples for Expert Testing and Other Studies: Internal & External Lab Coordination: Prepare and pack samples for submission to internal testing Sample Tracking: Maintain detailed record of samples sent out, including sample identification, the date sent, the tests requested, and expected return dates. Adherence to Good EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Practices: Safety Protocols: Strictly follow all EHS guidelines and safety protocols within the lab. This includes understanding and adhering to procedures for handling chemicals and using personal protective equipment (PPE) like lab coats, safety glasses, and gloves. Housekeeping: Help team maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workstation and lab environment. This also involves regularly cleaning glassware and lab equipment.

Desired Professional Experience:

Fresher from College or 3-6 months of relevant experience.

Education Level and Qualifications:

B. Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering/Technology, or a Master's in Science.
