To assist the Quality and Engineering teams in performing inspections, testing, and documentation of electrical and electronic systems. The intern will gain hands-on experience in component testing, data recording, and quality process improvement activities aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the inspection and testing of wiring harnesses, PCBs, and electrical assemblies.
Support continuity, insulation, and functional testing of components and systems.
Record and analyse test data, assist in documentation and reporting.
Perform incoming and final quality inspections for components.
Assist in creating quality checklists, test reports, and maintain calibration data.
Follow all safety and ESD procedures during testing and handling components.
Skills and Competencies:
Basic understanding of electrical circuits and measuring instruments.
Knowledge of soldering, crimping, and IPC standards preferred.
Good analytical and documentation skills.
Ability to work under guidance and follow standard procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools for data recording.
Educational Qualification:
Recently completed Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Knowledge of quality systems or testing standards is an added advantage.
Instruments and Tools Exposure (Preferred):
Digital Multimeter, Power Analyser, Insulation Tester.
Crimp Pull Tester, Microscope, Soldering Station.
Data Logger / DAQ System for data collection.
Expected Outcomes:
Basic understanding of inspection and quality procedures.
Ability to perform visual and functional testing under supervision.
Effective documentation of inspection and test data.
