The LMI-CLS team consults with business partners to provide effective learning solutions for our global sales and marketing partners. We apply contemporary adult learning principles to develop skills and knowledge and drive behaviour change to support the Marketing and Sales transformation journey. The editor is expected to be a creative problem solver who supports achievement of the team's goals while always seeking ways to apply the process in a more effective manner. He/she is an advocate for each learning deliverable that the team sends out and ensures accuracy and compliance.

This role involves:

  • Understanding Lilly's culture, organizational structure, roles, and practices
  • Comprehending project/content and working as per the team's editorial practices
  • Assisting the senior editors/ mentors by ensuring that the projects go out without grammatical or language errors
Functional Requirements
  • Ability to quickly form partnerships and work effectively with others, learn, and apply processes, and strong project and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have deep knowledge of grammar and composition
  • Have familiarity with scientific terms and style guides like AMA, APA, CMS etc.
  • Be thorough and have attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines
