Project Overview
The internship supports the "Upskilling of Community Health Workers on TB 3Cs" initiative, which aims to train 80,000 CHWs across Delhi, Maharashtra, and Telangana using digital modalities. The 3Cs--Competence, Connection, and Confidence--are core to enhancing CHW effectiveness in TB screening, stigma reduction, and trust-building. The project leverages WhatsApp-based gamified learning, state e-learning portals, and real-time analytics to drive behavior change and improve TB case detection.

Learning Goals
The intern will:Gain exposure to TB elimination programs
Gain hands-on experience in digital health interventions and public health program implementation.
Understand the design and deployment of digital health platforms, gamified learning platforms and interactive dashboards for frontline health workers.
Understand the integration of WhatsApp Business API and digital communication tools for community health outreach.
Learn about monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks in large-scale health programs.
Develop skills in stakeholder coordination, content development, and user engagement strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the digitization and localization of training content for CHWs in collaboration with creative and translation agencies.
Assist in designing, testing and reviewing the gamification journey and WhatsApp-based learning platform.
Coordinate with field teams, PATH teams and state-level stakeholders to gather feedback and support user acceptability testing.
Contribute to the development of reinforcement messages and motivational content for CHWs.
Assist in monitoring CHW engagement and training completion using data organization, analysis and analytics dashboards.
Assist in monitoring and evaluation, compiling findings into weekly/monthly reports.
Support documentation efforts, including reports, video stories, case studies, and scientific publications.
Participate in monthly governance meetings and contribute to progress reporting and learning dissemination.

Required Qualifications and ExperienceCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Communication, or related fields.
Demonstrated interest in TB, digital health, or community health systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Familiarity with digital tools (e.g., WhatsApp, e-learning platforms) and basic data analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
* Prior experience with NGOs or public health projects is a plus.
