Techno- Commercial knowledge
Ability to have a thorough understanding Polycab products, competitor products and know the benefits offered. Regular updating of the techno-commercial knowledge.
Offer suitable product as per company's strength and availability
Customer knowledge
Thorough understanding of the customer, competition, and their relations. In addition, the impact of macroeconomic policies on customers' business.
Deciding payment terms of the customer
Discount offered
Presenting value prepositions
Communicating the Polycab's value proposition in line with the customer needs and expectations. Communicating the tangible benefits with impact.
In house seminar
Demonstration of products
Arranging visit of Polycab seniors with customers
Understanding the needs, pain areas and expectations.
Mastering the art and science of asking, listening, and conversing with the customers with an aim to understand both expressed needs and latent needs.
Offering suitable solutions to the customer, in terms of commercial terms of conditions, like : payment terms, freight terms, delivery terms, warranty clause etc.
Hunting orientation
Seeking to acquire new customers and constantly exploring newer opportunities by participating in various forums.
Preparation of visit plan, both in-station and out-station
Visit to customers as per day-to-day priority
Handling objections and closing deals
Ability to anticipate and handle the queries, doubts and objections and handle them to conclude win-win agreements.
Decision on commercial terms and conditions as per the situation demands and credibility of the customer.
Prospecting and qualifying
Looking for new prospects and the ability to qualify the prospects based on Polycab's pre-defined criteria. Work with Channel partners and guiding them.
Visit to dealers as and when required
* Connect the dealers and customers, as per customers' business approach.
