Job Description

Zucker Decor India is seeking a dynamic and skilled Interior Site Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of interior projects with a focus on attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Supervision:

Oversee daily on-site activities to ensure work is carried out as per the design plans, drawings, and specifications. Monitor the progress of interior construction, including carpentry, painting, flooring, tiling, electrical, plumbing, and other finishing works. Ensure that all work is completed within the agreed timeline and budget.

Quality Control:

Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet quality standards and design requirements. Identify and resolve any defects or issues in the workmanship or materials. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project.

Coordination:

Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of the project. Liaise with the project manager to provide updates on site progress, challenges, and solutions. Schedule and manage the delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to the site.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure that all on-site activities comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct safety briefings and ensure that workers adhere to safety protocols. Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on the site.

Team Management:

Supervise and guide on-site workers, subcontractors, and laborers. Assign tasks and responsibilities to the team and ensure they are completed efficiently. Resolve any conflicts or issues among team members.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including progress reports, material usage, and labor hours. Document any changes or deviations from the original plan and communicate them to the project manager. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project manager or client.

Problem-Solving:

Address and resolve any on-site issues or challenges promptly. Propose solutions for unexpected problems, such as material shortages or design changes. Ensure minimal disruption to the project timeline.

Client Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for the client on-site. Provide updates to the client on project progress and address any concerns or questions they may have. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality workmanship.

Budget Management:

Monitor and control project costs to ensure the project stays within budget. Track material usage and labor costs to avoid wastage and overspending.

Compliance with Codes and Standards:

Ensure all interior work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Obtain necessary permits and approvals for interior work as required.
