Job Title: Interior Site Engineer with Project Management Skills

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Interior Site Engineer with strong Project Management Skills to oversee interior design projects from inception to completion. The role involves coordinating on-site activities, ensuring high-quality standards, and managing project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and excellent leadership abilities to manage site operations and communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Supervision and project management
Oversee day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring that interior work aligns with design plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Ensure high-quality finishes and craftsmanship by guiding contractors, vendors, and other personnel on-site.
Project Management
Manage project timelines, ensuring that all phases of the project are completed on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers, to align on project goals and timelines.
Track project milestones and provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
Budget Management and Cost Control
Monitor project expenses and manage budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining quality.
Conduct cost assessments, negotiate with suppliers and contractors, and keep records of financial transactions.
Identify and resolve budget discrepancies and recommend cost-saving measures when possible.
Vendor and Contractor Coordination
Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
Oversee installation and construction phases, coordinating with vendors to ensure the availability of materials and equipment.
Resolve any site-related issues with vendors or subcontractors to maintain smooth project progress.
Design Interpretation and Implementation
Interpret design plans, layouts, and specifications, ensuring that on-site execution aligns with the intended design vision.
Provide technical guidance and solutions for any design or construction challenges that arise during project execution.
Collaborate with interior designers to ensure any on-site adjustments maintain the aesthetic and functional integrity of the project.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, inspection logs, change orders, and daily site records.
Provide comprehensive site reports and updates to project management, highlighting any deviations, risks, or issues.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project.
Client Communication and Satisfaction
Serve as a point of contact for clients on-site, addressing any concerns and ensuring clear communication about project status.
Manage client expectations and provide timely updates to foster positive client relationships.
Conduct final site inspections with clients and assist with project handover.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in interior design project management and site supervision.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, interior design principles, and finishing work.
Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with interior design software
