Consultation & Presentation: Conduct initial client consultations to understand project needs, budgets, and design preferences, and deliver compelling design proposals and sales presentations.
Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product line, materials, pricing, and industry trends to effectively sell and specify products.
Quoting & Contracting: Prepare detailed sales quotes, contracts, and proposals for clients, ensuring profitability and accuracy.
2. Interior Design & Project Execution
Concept Development: Conceptualize and create innovative design solutions for residential or commercial spaces, ensuring compliance with all building codes and safety regulations.
Design Deliverables:
Produce comprehensive design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, mood boards, and detailed material/finish specifications (FF&E).
Budget Management:
Determine project costs and timelines, ensuring the design aligns with the client's budget and project schedule.
Project Oversight:
Coordinate and collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure a smooth project flow from concept through installation and final client handover.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, secure repeat business, and generate referrals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
4 years of proven experience for Sr. Designer and Internship for Jr. Designer in interior design with a significant focus on direct sales or commission-based roles.
Strong professional portfolio showcasing successfully completed design projects.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar).
Familiarity with graphic design/presentation software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
Experience with CRM software is a plus.
