Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Purchase Manager to oversee the procurement of materials and furnishings for interior design projects.

This role ensures that all materials are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and align with the project's aesthetic and functional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement purchasing strategies that align with project timelines and budgets. Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure favorable conditions. Source a wide range of materials, including furniture, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, and decor items, ensuring they meet quality standards and design specifications. Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations, ensuring timely availability of materials for projects. Develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising on quality. Work closely with interior designers, project managers to understand material requirements and ensure seamless integration into the design. Ensure that all procured materials meet the required quality standards and specifications. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery schedules. Provide regular reports on procurement status to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the interior design or construction industry. Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and contract management. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with procurement software and tools.
