Vendor Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and securing the best terms and conditions.
Inventory Control:
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, reducing excess inventory and minimizing stockouts.
Cost Management:
Analyze and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing practices while maintaining quality standards.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality standards for purchased materials, conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure compliance.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate product availability, and compare prices and quality.
Material Knowledge:
Possess a strong understanding of various materials used in interior design and construction, including their properties, applications, and sourcing.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring all legal and company requirements are met.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate procurement risks by developing contingency plans and ensuring supplier reliability.
Compliance:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
Experience:
4-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role, preferably in the interior design or construction industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in procurement tools which are Basic Tally, Microsoft Office, Google Sheets
Negotiation Skills:
Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Analytical Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate suppliers, manage budgets, and improve procurement processes.
Communication Skills:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
