Job Description

Responsibilities:

Meet with clients to thoroughly understand their needs, preferences, and any special considerations or concerns related to the interior design project. Collaborate with clients to develop project objectives, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with their expectations and constraints. Manage materials and labour costs effectively to ensure projects stay within budget guidelines while maintaining high-quality standards. Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors to ensure they are reasonable in terms of price, scope of work offered, and adherence to project requirements. Coordinate design details with architects and other relevant stakeholders to align interior design plans with construction plans and ensure seamless integration. Prepare progress reports for clients on a regular basis, providing updates on project milestones, budget status, and any issues or challenges encountered. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Oversee the execution of interior design projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices. Foster strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and industry practices related to interior design, incorporating innovative solutions and approaches into project management processes.
