Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities of an Interior Project Manager1. Project Planning & Coordination



Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and execution strategies. Coordinate with designers, clients, contractors, vendors, and all internal departments. Conduct regular project review meetings and update stakeholders. Allocate resources and manpower based on project requirements.

2. Client Communication & Relationship Management



Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Understand client requirements, design preferences, and budget constraints. Provide timely project updates, address queries, and ensure client satisfaction. Manage any client-requested changes (variations) and ensure proper documentation.

3. Execution & Site Management



Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth workflow. Ensure all work is executed as per drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and timelines. Supervise contractors, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other site staff. Resolve site-level issues promptly to avoid delays.

4. Quality Control & Compliance



Review and verify all design drawings, BOQs, and specifications before execution. Conduct quality checks at various stages of the project. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Identify and rectify deviations from approved design or scope.

5. Budgeting & Cost Management



Prepare project budgets, estimates, and cost breakdowns. Track project expenses and ensure the project stays within the approved budget. Approve vendor quotations, measure work progress, and verify bills. Manage cost control, avoid wastage, and monitor material consumption.

6. Material Procurement & Vendor Coordination



Coordinate with procurement team/suppliers for timely delivery of materials. Verify material quality and quantity upon arrival at the site. Manage vendor performance and ensure they meet contractual commitments. Maintain proper documentation of purchases, approvals, and deliveries.

7. Risk Management & Problem Solving



Identify potential risks or roadblocks and proactively address them. Resolve conflicts between site teams, vendors, and clients when necessary. Implement corrective actions for delays or quality concerns.

8. Documentation & Reporting



Maintain project-related documents such as drawings, approvals, contracts, and change orders. Prepare daily/weekly site reports and share with management. Track project progress against schedules and milestones. Ensure proper handover documentation upon project completion.

9. Team Leadership



Lead and motivate site teams, supervisors, and contractors. Ensure clear communication of responsibilities and deadlines. Provide guidance to junior staff and assist with performance evaluation.

10. Project Handover



Ensure final finishing, snag rectification, and quality checks before handover. Conduct a final walkthrough with the client. Prepare handover checklists and ensure proper documentation. Ensure client satisfaction and close the project smoothly.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
