As An
Interior Materials Sales Supervisor
you are responsible for selling a range of interior materials, such as veneer, laminates, architectural hardware, brass hardware, handles, modular kitchen, modular furniture, rafters, charcoal sheets, wall coverings, furniture components.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1.
Sales & Customer Service
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable interior materials .
Provide product demonstrations and samples to clients (designers, architects, contractors, homeowners).
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and follow up on leads.
Participate in client meetings to understand their needs and preferences.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure satisfaction.
2.
Product Knowledge & Presentation
Maintain deep knowledge of all interior material products (features, specifications, applications, and care).
Stay updated on trends, materials innovations, and design aesthetics.
Assist in researching and sourcing materials, furnishings, and accessories for various design concepts.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and technical documentation.

Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.
Network with industry professionals (interior designers, project managers, contractors).
Attend industry events, trade shows, and expos to promote products and generate leads.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including interior designers and project managers, to ensure the seamless execution of design projects.
4.
Order & Inventory Management
Process orders accurately and ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers and warehouses to maintain stock levels.
Track order fulfillment and manage backorders or custom material requests.
5.
Technical Support
Offer installation guidance or refer certified installers.
Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints or design plans for material compatibility.
Provide support on product maintenance and warranty information.
6.
Reporting & Administration
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
Manage CRM systems and maintain customer data.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of interior design concepts and materials.
Negotiation and closing skills.
Ability to understand technical product details.
Familiarity with sales software and CRM tools.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to contribute fresh ideas to design projects.
