Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interior Estimation Engineer to join our team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and pricing for interior design and fit-out projects. The candidate should have strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and construction techniques, along with the ability to analyse drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyse interior design drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Prepare detailed

quantity take-offs (QTOs)

, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates for interior fit-out projects. Evaluate materials, labour, subcontractor, and equipment costs for project pricing. Liaise with design, procurement, and project teams to gather technical and commercial inputs. Invite, analyse, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare tender documents, cost breakdowns, and pricing sheets for client submissions. Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and budgetary requirements. Assist project managers in value engineering and cost optimization. Update and maintain cost database, material rates, and supplier contacts. Support in negotiation with vendors and clients regarding pricing and contracts.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, or related field.

2-5 years

of experience in estimation, preferably in interior fit-out or construction industry. Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, joinery, and MEP integration. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and estimation software

. Good understanding of tendering, contracts, and BOQ preparation.
