We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Engineer to oversee and manage the interior works for hospitality interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing interior fit-out activities, ensuring design accuracy, quality standards, coordination with MEP team, successful handover to IHCL operation team and timely completion in alignment with client expectations and project goals
1. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of hospitality interior fit-out works, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget compliance.
Develop and manage project schedules, coordinate procurement, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Ensured smooth workflow, maintained design intent, and adhered to timelines, meeting brand standards and specifications.
Ensure smooth handover of the sites to the IHCL operation team.
Plan and manage all interior works including false ceilings, flooring, partitions, carpentry, electrical and plumbing fit-outs, painting, and finishing.
Supervise on-site installation, fit-out, and finishing activities, conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Material Management:
Forecast the material requirement as per the project schedule & coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of the desired material.
Inspect the material at site to ensure adherence of the quality and design standards.
In case of mismatch in design / quality/ quantity coordinate with the procurement team / interior vendor / supplier for resolution of the same and report to interior in charge.
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of finishing work.
Conduct regular inspections and oversee to verify the quality of workmanship and materials.
Coordination with Other Agencies:
Collaborate with MEP, landscape, and civil teams to ensure smooth integration of finishing works with other project components.
Coordinate with relevant MEP team to obtain necessary clearance and approvals for further interior finishing works.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials and services.
Proficiency in work methods:
Assess the technical feasibility of design concepts, identifying potential challenges related to MEP work, materials, systems, and accessibility.
Execute all finishing works are carried out according to established work methods and industry best practices.
Adherence to standard:
Implement corrective actions to address any non-conformities or quality issues.
Ensuring compliance with brand standards and operator [IHCL] requirements.
7. Handover:
Prepare snag lists for rectification prior to handover.
Ensure timely & successful closure of the snag list.
Attend & close issues raised by the operation team post - handover, thereby ensuring earliest closure.
Key Qualifications:
Diploma in civil / architect, B. Tech / B.E. or relevant.
Proven experience (typically 4 - 9 years) in managing and overseeing interior construction projects, preferably in Hospitality fit-outs.
Familiarity with all phases of Hospitality interior projects, from conceptual design, execution and handover.
Key Skills:
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, TrueView.
Strong understanding of hospitality execution methods, materials, and techniques.
In-depth knowledge of interior sequence, inspection regulations, and safety compliance.
High attention to detail and accuracy of finishing work.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Summary:
Finishes Engineer is responsible for the technical planning, execution, and quality control of all architectural finishes in a project. The role requires in-depth knowledge of finishing materials, construction sequencing, tolerances, and coordination with MEP services. The engineer ensures that works are executed in strict accordance with GFC / approved shop drawings, material specifications, project QA/QC procedures, and relevant codes of practice.
