Interior Design Professor - In person teaching

Location:

NSAM Institute of Design, Navi Mumbai

Compensation:

?500 - ?650 per hour

Schedule:

Minimum 2 fixed days per week (9:30 AM - 4:30 PM) for part-time. All 5 weekdays working for Full-time role.

About the Role:

NSAM Institute of Design is seeking a passionate and experienced

Interior Design Professor

to join our team in a part-time capacity. The role involves offline teaching core subjects of our

B.Sc. in Interior Design

program, guiding students to strengthen both their technical skills and creative vision.

Responsibilities:

Teach foundational and core subjects of Interior Design, including space planning, design principles, and drafting. Deliver engaging lectures, hold Workshops, take on Market Surveys and Studio Sessions that encourage student creativity and industry-readiness. Evaluate student projects and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with the faculty team to enhance course quality and student outcomes. Support NSAM's commitment to blending academic learning with real-world exposure.

Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum

2 years of teaching experience

in Interior Design (college/university level preferred). Up-to date with the recent trends in Interior designing. Knowledge of AI in Interiors. Strong knowledge of fundamental design concepts & software. Ability to inspire, mentor, and engage students. Flexibility to work for at least 2 fixed days per week. Additional hours may be discussed during the interview.
