In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for consulting with clients, creating compelling design solutions, and driving sales by delivering outstanding customer experiences. You'll act as both a designer and a sales consultant, helping clients transform their spaces while meeting sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
Conduct showroom consultations, site visits, or virtual meetings to pitch design concepts.
Develop and present customized design proposals and quotations.
Drive revenue by closing sales and upselling products and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Design:
Create space plans, mood boards, and 2D/3D visualizations based on client needs.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories that align with design goals and brand standards.
Prepare and revise design presentations, including CAD drawings and layout plans.
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design integrity and execution.
Stay current with industry trends, products, and technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in interior design, Architecture, or related field.
Proven experience in interior design with a focus on residential or commercial spaces.
2+ years of sales experience, ideally in a design-related or high-end retail environment.
Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Customer-focused with a passion for design and sales.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a showroom or retail environment.
Knowledge of furniture, fabrics, lighting, and finishes.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
