Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments, utilizing various design software and tools to bring concepts to life.

Duties

Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces. Develop design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit. Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction and renovation projects. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively throughout the design process. Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Photoshop to communicate design ideas. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals involved in the project. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design. Apply knowledge of color theory, lighting design, and drafting techniques in all projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Revit. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of construction processes, contracts, budgeting, renovation techniques, and lighting sales. Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration. A keen eye for detail with a solid understanding of aesthetics in interior spaces.
