Junior Interior Designer

Role Summary:

The Junior Interior Designer will work closely with Principal Designer on all phases of the design process, from concept development and space planning to drafting construction documents and project installation. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an early-career professional to gain hands-on experience and grow within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Designers in developing initial

design concepts

, mood boards, and client presentations. Produce detailed 2D drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using

AutoCAD

and/or Revit. Create

3D models and renderings

using

[Specify software like SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.]

for design visualization. Research and source

furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E)

, finishes, and materials, and manage the sample library. Prepare and manage FF&E specifications, quotes, and purchase orders. Conduct

site visits

to measure spaces, photograph existing conditions, and assist with installation and styling. Coordinate with

vendors, contractors, and architects

to ensure design intent is accurately executed. Assist with general project administration, including filing, organizing project binders, and tracking budgets/timelines.
Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

[0-2 years]

of professional experience, including internships, in an interior design firm.

Technical Proficiency:

Expertise in

AutoCAD

is required. Proficiency in 3D modeling (e.g.,

3ds max

,

SketchUp, Revit

). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (

Photoshop/ InDesign

) for presentations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (

Excel, Word

).

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of design principles, color theory,

space planning

, and materials.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
