Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented

Interior Designer

to support our design team in developing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. The ideal candidate will assist with design development, space planning, sourcing materials, preparing presentations, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development of interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects Create mood boards, material boards, and presentation documents Prepare 2D floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) Research and source materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures Attend client meetings, take notes, and support project documentation Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for pricing and availability Assist with site measurements, site visits, and installation supervision as needed Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field 0-1 years of experience in interior design (internships or freelance work acceptable) Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or similar design tools Strong eye for design, detail, and colour Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively and take direction from senior designers

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with 3D visualization and rendering software Familiarity with sustainable design practices Basic knowledge of local building codes and regulations
