As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor spaces. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, translating them into design concepts that enhance the quality of living or working environments.
Duties
Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements, budget, and timeline
Develop design concepts that align with clients' needs and vision
Create detailed drawings, mood boards, and 3D renderings using software such as 3ds Max, Sketchup, CAD, and Rhinoceros 3D
Select materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories to complement the design concept
Oversee the execution of projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors
Manage project timelines and budgets effectively
Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design and incorporate innovative ideas into projects
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
Proven experience in interior design projects from concept to completion
Proficiency in design software like 3ds Max, Sketchup, CAD, and Rhinoceros 3D
Strong knowledge of color theory, spatial arrangements, and materials
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in contract negotiation and renovation projects would be advantageous
