Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Concept Development

Develop initial design concepts based on client brief, space requirements, and project objectives. Create mood boards, sketches, visual presentations, and storyboards to express design direction. Research current trends, materials, technologies, and design innovations.

2. Space Planning & Technical Drawings

Prepare detailed space plans, layout drawings, and 3D models using tools like NAADI, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar. Conduct site surveys, measure spaces, and verify dimensions for accurate planning. Ensure all design elements meet building codes, safety standards, and accessibility guidelines.

3. Material & Finish Selection

Select appropriate materials, textures, furnishings, lighting, accessories, and finishes. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to source materials and samples. Evaluate cost-effective design alternatives while maintaining aesthetic and functional quality.

4. Client Engagement & Presentation

Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements. Present design concepts, material boards, 3D renders, and detailed proposals. Incorporate client feedback and modifications into final design plans.

5. Project Execution & Coordination

Collaborate with Execution, and procurement teams throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor onsite progress to ensure designs are executed according to specifications. Resolve design challenges and make adjustments during construction or installation phases. Oversee installation of furnishings, decor, lighting, and final styling.

6. Budgeting & Documentation

Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities). Prepare working drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents. Track material usage, vendor costs, and maintain project documentation.

7. Quality, Compliance & Innovation

Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines (if applicable) and industry standards. Stay updated on sustainable and eco-friendly design practices.
Continuously explore innovative solutions in interior design, space utilization, and user experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
